Professional Designations
Debra believes that one of the keys to success, both for herself and her clients, is a continually updated education. She takes many classes and seminars to increase her effectiveness and has earned one of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations: ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative). In addition, Debra has received the certification CCPS (Certified Corporate Property Specialist) and CRMS (Certified Residential Marketing Specialist), and the RECS( Real Estate Cyberspace Specialist). Debra recently completed the coursework for her GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute). Debra also completed training in 2001 for her e-PRO Certification through the National Association of Realtors. Nationally recognized, these designations are earned through a rigorous course of study as well as demonstrated professional experience. They are Debra's assurance to you that she provides quality service.
Debra also has attended the National Association of Realtors Conventions in 2001 and 2002, as well as the annual Illinois Association of Realtors Convention, to stay updated on the newest technologies and trends in the Real Estate industry to continually give superior service to her clients.



Memberships
Debra is a member of the McHenry County Association of REALTORS� where she helps maintain the professionalism of the industry by serving on the Professional Standards Committee. She also serves on The McHenry County of Realtors Technology Sub-Committee, The Multi-Board Grievance Committee, and the MLS or Northern Illinois Runt Group. In addition to her local involvement, Debra is also a member of the Illinois Association of REALTORS� and the National Association of REALTORS�. All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate.

Personal Information
Debra is a lifelong resident of the Chicago Suburban area. She Grew up in the Mt. Prospect/Arlington Heights area and has lived in McHenry/Lake County area since 1990. She currently resides in Cary, Illinois. She has seen the area grow and change and knows it from both personal and professional experience.

Debra holds a Master of Science degree (MS) in Psychology/Liberal Arts from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She has also done post-graduate work at Northern Illinois University.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Debra enjoyed a successful career in Restaurant/Catering and Hotel Management. During her tenure in this field, Debra honed important skills in communication, customer service, administration, attention to detail, negotiation and management, all of which are vital to the success of her real estate clients today.

Dedicated to her community as well as her profession, Debra has served as a Director of the Streamwood Chamber of Commerce as well as a Director for Elgin Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. When not serving her clients or her community, she enjoys reading, movies, boating, travel, nature and antiques.
